How Niki Live hosts earn

• Gift share — at least 70% of the value of every gift received in your live streams goes to you.
• Base salary — $5 a day per host, paid in addition to gifts.
• Invitation bonus — up to $14 for every friend you invite who becomes a host. The more you share, the more you earn.
• Fast settlement — your income is settled within 3 hours after the end of each day.
• Legal withdrawals — more than a dozen payment methods, in more than 100 countries.

Beans — Gifts are paid in beans, the platform's currency: 10,000 beans = $1. Your balance and your withdrawal options are in the app.

How to start streaming

1. Download Niki Live and create your account with your phone number or a social account.
2. Verify your identity. Hosts must be at least 18, use real photos, and pass face verification: the person on camera must be the account owner.
3. Set up your stream: a bright room, the phone on a stand at eye level, clear audio. A sound card is a plus for singing.
4. Go live and interact: greet viewers, answer the chat, invite viewers to join on mic, and stream at regular hours so your fans know when to find you.

Streaming guidelines

Niki Live ranks streams by their quality. Streams that follow the guidelines get more exposure and more rewards; streams that break them lose visibility, rewards, and in serious cases the account.

Prohibited content

Leads to suspension of streaming rights, cancelled rewards, and bans:

• Streaming by someone other than the registered host, photos or pre-recorded videos shown as live, one person going live from several accounts.
• Pornography, drug use, gambling, violent or gory content, and any minor on camera.
• Long periods with no host on screen or no face shown, streaming while lying down or slouching, sleeping on air.

Discouraged content

Leads to less exposure, lower rewards and exclusion from events:

• Long silences or a muted microphone; hiding the face or showing only part of it.
• Ignoring viewers' requests to join the stream; almost no interaction, a cold room.

Encouraged content

Gets priority exposure, higher rewards and access to platform events:

• Active chat with viewers, inviting them on mic, building a loyal fan group.
• A bright, comfortable set, clear video and audio, professional audio gear such as a sound card.

Featured content

Gets trending placement, exclusive rewards and event invitations:

• Singing streams — singing takes up at least half of the stream, with a sound card or professional audio and good video.
• PK battles — well-paced, interactive battles with fun reward and penalty mechanics.

Safety score

Every host starts with a safety score of 24 points. When a violation is detected, the stream is paused for 5 minutes with a warning, and points are deducted once per violation:

What the score means

You recover 3 points for every 7 days without a new violation, and you can appeal a penalty within 24 hours; if the deduction was a mistake, the points are restored and streaming resumes. Unlawful conduct such as fraud or money laundering, and behaviour that causes public backlash, lead to a permanent ban whatever the score.

Low-quality streams

A separate policy covers passive streaming. It applies to every host, whatever the content and the time of day:

• Face not visible for 2 minutes or more in an indoor stream (dance performances excepted).
• Lying down, leaning or looking sluggish for 3 minutes or more.
• Microphone muted while ignoring the audience for 3 minutes or more.
• No reply to comments or to mic requests for 3 minutes or more, leaving the room stagnant.

The penalties escalate: an official warning on screen, then a 15-minute drop in recommendation, then the stream is ended and 2 points are deducted from the safety score. Three or more low-quality penalties in 7 days lead to further measures. Monitoring combines real-time AI detection with human inspectors, every day of the week; you can appeal within 24 hours and the platform answers within 24 hours.

Getting paid

Your income is settled within 3 hours after the end of each day. Withdrawals are made from the app, in cash, through more than a dozen payment methods in more than 100 countries; the methods and the minimum amount available to you depend on your country and are shown in the app.
